If you’re following the demise and final flights of NASA’s space shuttle program then you’ll want to know that Discovery, which was meant to fly at the beginning of November, has suffered yet another setback. More cracks have been discovered in the foam of the external fuel tank which now have to be carefully repaired. The next launch opportunity is at the beginning of February, which hopefully will see the planned penultimate shuttle launch with six astronaughts to the International Space Station.
