The Shuttle Endeavour lifted off on its final journey to the International Space Station on the 16th May 2011, lighting up the sky one last time. Endeavour carried a number of experiments and supplies to the orbiting outpost, amongst which was the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer, the most expensive experiment ever to be carried out on board the ISS.
